Speak Lord For Your Servant Is Listening!!

Last night the tears came!  I know  God is truly leading, molding, and guiding me.  The church is going thru changes and will be stepping out to those areas of necessary risks!  Speak to me Lord as I know you love us!  Colossians 1:17 tells me that You are before all things and by You all things are held together.  Roar , Lion of Judah for we need to hear you !!

Necessary Risk

I have come to realize that it is certainly time to risk stepping out with the necessary!!  I have access to the most powerful weapon know to me--God's Word.  My world is changing and is unsettling at times.  I feel bound to do all that I can do to reach out.  While my world is changing, my soul is at peace.  There are many that are qualified to reach out and do not for one reason or another!!  My place in the shadows is becoming very fruitful. I am sensing God all around me helping me to grow.  A risk can be unsettling in its own; but, with God leading and giving me direction, I feel a risk in my horizon.  The shadows gave Paul his urging to grow and learn.  Shadows aren't all bad!!  Ready to DIVE!!!!!

Becoming More Than Myself!!

I began reading Not A Fan by Kyle Idleman recently.  My bible reading this morning was in John 14.  I am intrigued by verse 11 in this chapter.  The Message by Eugene Peterson translates this verse:  What I am saying is, If you walk around with your nose in he air going to end up flat on your face.  BUT IF YOU ARE CONTENT TO BE SIMPLY YOURSELF, YOU WILL BECOME MORE THAN YOURSELF!!

God's word never ceases to amaze me or shed more light than this  morning!  I dont have to be or become anything supernatural.  I only have to be what God created me to be!  God's plan for me is unfolding every minute of my life.  God created me for something  and He is very gracious never to unfold but what He wants me to see or learn at the appointed time He sends it.  I am just one person who tries to read between the lines and interpret what is happening.  Ugh, I will not anymore!  My prayer is that I learn more and go deeper still in His word.

A fan is not what I want to be !  A totally committed follower is the desire of my transformation!!  Stay tuned for more seams to be sewn.
